Hello, May!
Happy Mayday! I hope it’s been a good one. Here, it’s been grey and rainy most of the afternoon. Did Mother Nature forget it’s APRIL showers that bring May flowers? At least today’s bout of rain hasn’t brought tornadoes with it, so I can’t complain much.
As it’s the first of the month, it’s time to lock in new goals. But first, I’d like to reflect on how April went.
April was good to me. I exceeded my online sales goal, and among those sales, I sold four paintings. I attended my first market and made my table fee plus extra, which is always nice. And I received three commissions! I love selling my bookmarks and greeting cards, but there’s something special about selling my paintings. It feels like sending off pieces of my soul to live with someone else. I hope they love them as much as I loved painting them.
Looking forward to May, these are the goals I’ve settled on:
• 15 Etsy orders
• 3 website orders
• Make back table fee for 5/17 market
• Vend at the local farmers market on 5/24 and 5/31
I think it’s doable! Still, even if I don’t achieve these exact numbers, I’ll be proud of myself. I’ve put a lot of hard work into my small business, and I’m starting to see it pay off. It’s only uphill from here.
Before I sign off, I want to remind everyone that I’m offering 15% off to the first 10 customers who purchase from my website. The discount is applied at checkout, so no code is needed. Happy browsing!
Until next time,
Sandia
